A number of the photographs are accompanied by what the sender of the postcard had written. Some of the postcards date back to the early 1900s. The postcards are divided into four sections: Barnt Green - Rubery - Rednal and Cofton - The Lickey Hills. Since 1889 the Lickey Hills have been a favourite place for recreation for the people of Birmingham and the surrounding areas. First published in April 1989 this reprint July 1989.
