There is foxing on front edge, endpapers and on some of the pages, most of the pages have no foxing. Pages viii has name and date written in biro at bottom edge, and page ix has first word underlined and has "blame her P.231" written in biro at bottom edge, also both pages have light brown mark by bottom of inner edge. Contents and first Index page each have an asterisk in biro. A good tight copy. xvii, 268pp. With facsimile illustrations and 8 collotype plates. There are sixty-six letters, plus "Eight or Nine Wise Words about Letter-Writing." (Book ref. 7013)  £16.00
