Dustjacket in good condition, lightly tanned, spine ends a little rubbed, 1/4" tear by back top of spine, a 3" light scratch mark on back cover. 224pp. With two full-page drawings. The novel is set in the Cotswold's market town of Caxley, and follows the lives of two families - Bender North and his family who run the ironmongers shop and Sep Howard's family who run the bakery.
