With frontispiece, 10 black-and-white photographs 8 folding maps. This history traces the 4th Battalion from 1745 including in World War One the Battle of Bligny Hill, Passchendaele, Welch Ridge, and in World War Two, Bridgehead Battle, advance to the Rhine, and when the battalion led the advance of the 11th Armoured Division to Antwerp and was the first unit to enter the city.
