Hard Cover. Good.. Third Impression. A little faded along edges and sides of spine. Some of the pages have a few spots of foxing, text is bright. A good tight copy. From the 'Introduction' - "The book is studded with pieces of poetry. sometimes they are quotations, and sometimes, the author's own creation. They all have a religious theme. Studdert Kennedy was a Anglican priest who was nicknamed 'Woodbine Willy" during World War One for giving Woodbine cigarettes along with spiritual aid to injured and dying soldiers.
