Back board has two small white marks and also a light mark at the top and bottom edge where a piece of cellotape has been removed, and a barcode label on the inside. No other library marks. The book is a very good tight and clean and bright copy. xviii, 340pp, including Index. With 31 black-and-white photographs, 42 plans and diagrams and16 Tables in the text. Divided into Four Parts - England - Scotland - Wales - Ireland, and there is a Select Bibliography on each. There are Gazetteers for England: Excavations at Medieval House and Village Sites - County Gazatteer of Deserted Medieval Villages. Wales: Gazatteer of Excavated Sites. Ireland: Gazetteer of Deserted Towns, Rural Boroughs and Nucleated Settlements - There is no Gazetteer for Scotland, but it has The Peasant House and The Study of Deserted Medieval Settlements. Wales and Ireland both have The Study of Deserted Settlements (all upto 1968).
