First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. With edge wear at spine ends and outer corner edges are slightly bumped and rubbed. . Endpapers and page one are slightly tanned. Inside front board paper at hinge is cracked in places. Inner hinge on page 297, is showing a little webbing, but there is no looseness in the book. Page 217 has a tear at front edge (2.5cms long) not on the text. Foxing on endpapers and a few of the pages. Some pages are rough-cut at bottom edges. Label inside front board "Institute of St. Char (rest of word missing) Begbroke, Oxford. Given by Canon Caswell. Date (month missing) 1910."
