No edition stated (hardback). 4to, [29pp]. 8 pages are printed in full colour; the remainder have b&w illustrations throughout. Original brown cloth, gilt titling to the front board. Binding lightly rubbed and marked; overall, this copy is in good to very good condition. The pages are mounted on cloth, and the book claims to be "untearably mounted". The endpapers look too new - I suspect that the book has been recased at some point. The first half of the book is a ceries of cartoons, and the second half comprises an illustrated 58-stanza poem "the diverting history of Johnny Gilpin" by William Cowper. (Book ref. 15133)  £75.00
