First edition, complete in 15 hardback volumes. Each volume is octavo (23cm by 15cm), has about 150-200 pages, and is bound in the original black cloth, gilt titling to the spine. Some rubbing of the boards and foxing of the preliminary pages, but generally this set is in good to very good condition. All fifteen volumes are limited to 150 copies: volumes 1 and 2 are numbered "67", whilst the remainder are not numbered. Volumes 1 to 13 are initialled on the limitation page by W P W Phillimore (the last two volumes were published after his death). (Book ref. 26239)  £300.00
