Original decorated green cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, top edge gilt. This copy is only in fair condition; the extremities of the binding and the joints are scuffed, the head and foot of the spine are chipped, and the contents are thumbed. This is the rare George Newnes edition, which is undated (the date 1904 appears in a poem in the preliminary pages). Accorfding to COPAC, the third impression of this title was printed by Fisher Unwin in 1908; it is not clear whether the second impression was printed by Newnes (and, if so, there is any means of distinguishing it from the first impression).
