8vo, unpaginated. Printed throughout in green, blue and red (one colour per page). Original red printed boards, with colour illustration of Rupert sitting on a log listening to a lizard with a bicycle (this illustration was also used on one of the post-war annuals). Sadly this is a worn copy - I have had the book professionally rebacked with red cloth, the boards are heavily rubbed, the pastedowns have been heavily scribbled on, the first and last pages are foxed, and a number of illustrations have been (neatly) coloured by a juvenile hand, but the contents do appear to be complete, they are generally clean (apart from the colouring), and overall this is a fair copy of a scarce annual. The stories are: Rupert and the magic toy man, Rupert and Bill keep shop, Rupert's Christmas thrills, Rupert and Algernon, and Rupert and the white dove. (Book ref. 4269)  £150.00
