The standard history of the regiment in the Great War. 1st and 2nd Bns fought with Guards Division on the Western Front. With a chapter on the Reserve Battalion; includes casualties, strengths and drafts, honours and awards. The work was started by Ewart, but he was killed in Mexico in 1922.
