Roy. 8vo., text in French, with a portrait frontispiece, half-title and title in red and black, 16 fine coloured plates and 161 wood-engraved illustrations in the text, page edges lightly browning as usual; original red pebble-grain cloth, boards elaborately blocked in blind, back with raised bands, second compartment lettered and ruled in gilt, all other compartments richly tooled in gilt, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, short splits in joints at headband (but binding entirely sound), two corners lightly bruised else a very good, bright copy.
