8vo., First English Edition, with a portrait frontispiece and a plate, fore-edges moderately spotted, neat signatures on front paste-down and half-title verso; original blue cloth, upper board lettered in blind, gilt back, a very good, clean copy. Louis-Victor-Leon Rochechouart was an aide to Tsar Alexander and fought on the Russian side in the campaigns of 1812, 1813 and 1814. Very scarce, especially in this condition.
