2 vols., 8vo., First Edition, with engraved frontispieces (original tissue guards present) and 8 engraved plates (all original tissue guards present), first twenty leaves of second volume (including endpapers, frontispiece, title and first plate) heavily damp-marked; original green ribbed cloth, upper boards elaborately framed in blind enclosing hooded falcon on block perch all in gilt, gilt backs, uncut, covers damp-marked (first volume moderately, second volume heavily) but still a good, tight, working set of a scarce work in wholly un restored publisher's binding. With the fine nineteenth century engraved armorial bookplate of Henry Ashworth James on front paste-downs (bookplate in second volume damp-marked).
