Sold from an institution with its small, neat blind stamp on title. The engraved map (often missing) is clean and bright. Classic and profusely illustrated account of Gertrude Bell's extensive journey through Mesopotamia following the rivers Euphrates and Tigris. A most desirable copy of an extremely scarce work.
