gilt lettering, one of the more sought-after titles in the series and a famous miscarriage of justice. Derek Bentley was hanged for the murder of a police officer, although it was his juvenile accomplice, Christopher Craig who had the gun and fired the fatal shot. Signed inscription on fron fep: "For Anthony Babington in gratitude from the Editor, H Montogmeryu Hyde, London 29th November 1954 (Publication Date)". Top of spine slightly creased and some rubbing to ends of spine and corners, cloth and titles still very bright. Very clean internally and overall a very nice copy VG (Book ref. 360)  £70.00
