25 by 17.5 cms. 18 pp. illustrated in colour. The first edition was published in July 1916. Includes as inserts two folding advertising leaflets for their Matone flat oil paint, from 1920, 1923, both have a stamp for Clokey & Co. King street Belfast - a company I remember very well surviving into the 1960's before being destroyed by terrorists. The stencil designs are pure 1920's, for ceiling decoration, frieze designs (naturalistic) pictorial friezes, Dutch, Chinese & Japanese friezes, period frieze designs, wall decoration panel designs, swag and spot designs, classical borders, French and Georgian designs, Church and Chapel decoration, etc, etc.. A splendid survival, the card covers are a little dusty but internally fresh and tight, in very good condition. (Book ref. 11669)  £45.00
