Also included are illustrated extracts from The Pictorial World, 1888-1889. Introduction by Dr W.H. Crawford. Pictorial glazed card covers. On the ffep a small inscription (3 x 4 cm) has been obliterated with black felt tip, and the price has been tippexed out on the rear cover, o/w vg condition. The Index of businesses (pages 193-4) makes this a very useful reference book, and it should be noted that "North" in this context includes Ulster and Connaught, so that Galway and Athlone, for example, are included.
