Volume I only of two volumes. xi+449 pp. half leather and marbled boards, six panelled spine with raised bands gilt lining and original spine labels. Edge rubbing, spine damaged but professionally restored, internally tight, clean and bright. Despite spine wear, a good copy. Moore and his son visited Paris in 1792 and were eye witnesses to events, though they left before the trial of the King. he was a source for Carlyle. (Book ref. 12810)  £125.00
