Bound in contemporary calf, five panelled spine with raised bands with faded gilt decoration and titling, the oval crest, gilt of Trinity College Dublin on front and rear boards. The binding has been quite worn but has been professionally restored. A Prize bookplate for Trinity College on the front pastedown is dated 1816, internally very tight and bright.
