New edition in three volumes, with numerous illustrative notes now first added. Vol. I. 1735-1759, xx+431pp. Vol. II. 1760-1769, xv+459pp. Vol. III. xix+474pp. with frontispiece portrait to vol. 1. In original publishers boards with green cloth spines and original labels. Some rubbing and edgewear to boards but internally very tight clean and bright. On the front pastedown of each vol. is the very handsome crested bookplate for Ranfurly with shelf number J6, and on the ffep is a signature Northland 1838. This set came from Northland House Dungannon, Co. Tyrone,seat of the Ranfurly family, Viscounts Dungannon. The house is long demolished, but this is a nice association copy with a great Irish house and family. (Book ref. 13276)  £75.00
