(A Posthumous Work) 523 pp. in a contemporary calf binding with a modern spine label, spine professionally relaid, rear board with a small new leather repair, internally, tight with some signs of use but otherwise very good. An interesting association copy. the title page bears the inscription, "Rev. Jas O'Laverty PP MRIA Holywood." Monsignor O'Laverty 1828-1906 was born in Lecale and educated at St Malachy's College, Belfast, and at Maynooth. He was P.P. in Holywood for 30 years and between 1878-87 he wrote the five volumes of the Historical Account of Down and Connor. (Book ref. 13736)  £500.00
