Second thousand, with 196 text illustrations, small 8vo, pp x, 592, marbled edges, contemporary half calf and marbled paper a little rubbed, decorated spine gilt, slightly worn at the head of the spine and cracking slightly at the tops of both joints (though not weak), marbled endpapers, the first and last blanks a little foxed, a tiny ink erasure on the front blank.
