(1911) illustrated, large 8vo, pp 326, front endpaper and half-title a little worn along the fore-edge, a little foxing, cloth slightly rubbed and worn, spine dull, spine head pulled. [It seems to be unrecorded that there are actually two issues of the first edition. In this copy, the plates are complete but confined to the first third of the book. I believe this to be the first issue, and it is less common. In the other issue, the plates are bound throughout the book and appear opposite the page of text to which they refer, and the illustration list has been completely reset to allow for this.] (Book ref. 005485)  £35.00
