This is the facsimile edition of 1865. 72pp, small 4to. Origional green cloth with gilt lettering with small wear to top right of board, some foxing to end papers o/w fine. Catalogue entry tipped in at front which says "photo-lithographic facsililie of the quarto of 1600". A previous owner has stated in pencil that this is "the earliest Shakespeare facsimile" and "early example of photo-litho process" Scarce. (Book ref. 85)  £150.00
