Orig. brown cloth w. gilt ruled surround and circular design of title w. gilt vignette, a.e.g. New preface dated November 1863 for this edition. Spine gilt dulled and a short stain on spine has has partly obliterated the word 'Hymns' in the title. Internally,no half-title, but none appears to be called for. Rather foxed towards front and rear and page edges darkened, but with charming and lavish illustrations. Still a good, sound copy. (Book ref. 3326)  £28.00
