pp. 156 + 4 advs. Engr. frontispiece and delightful engravings at each chapter heading. Unusual binding cloth: blue and red horizontal stripes on diagonal grained cloth with a blind-stamped design on both covers, a.e.g. Minor wear at head and tail of spine but no loss of fabric. Spine gilt dulled. The engraved title page would normally be accompanied by another printed title page - the latter appears to have been very neatly cut out. Four pages have small black ink blots. Despite these faults, an appealing little book. Uncommon. (Book ref. 4301)  £20.00
