Folio - over 12" - 15" tall Signed by Author 4 Volume Set 1880-1884 Large Folio's in Green Levant Morocco with gilt title lettering to spines with gilt lined borders and with further gilt inner dentelles.Handsome set that shows very well on the shelf.Very clean internally with practically no foxing at all.There are 42 steel engraved plates and 2 double page maps and many wood engravings set within the text.The plates are uncut and are bound in from the original parts with all the wrappers neatly bound in at the end of the volumes.Marbled endpapers.Lovely clean complete set for the collector.Please note these are heavy volumes so postage only within the UK by Courier.They can be collected in person from our premises and that would reduce the cost by one hundred pounds.
