Folio - over 12" - 15" tall Five Volume set in ribbed red clothg with gilt title lettering to spines and with gilt vignette of Hogarth and Dog to the upper covers of each volume.Graded Near Fine.There is some slight rubbing to head and tail of spines.The set has firm bindings with No hinge weakness.There are NO previous names or inscriptions present.Complete With 150 steel engravings from pictures by William Hogarth with descriptions and comments on Their Moral tendency.All page edges are in gilt.Lovely clean set with no foxing or browning to pages.Very slightly sunned to spines.Lovely set though for the collector.Folio set of Five Volumes.Undated But Circa 1880's (Book ref. 62663) £400.00
