1st Edition; 14 text figures and 8 plates. Original brown paper card wrappers. Pencil annotation on the top corner of the front cover :- B.G.L.E. From a part lot purchased off Colin Bertram. The bottom edge has been damp at some time and all pages show slight wrinkles along the lower edge as a result - this does not affect any text or plates. The limit of the damp can be seen on 2 of the plates - not affecting the illustrations. Also there is a presentation slip tipped in "Presented by the Trustees of the British Museum" Overall a good copy. Good. (Book ref. 645)  £20.00
