A Book for all Reasons

Male, Capt. F. G. H. DAY OF THE DOMINO RUN - June 6th 1944 , The Malet Society, 1988,

paperback, mis-paginated with numbering up to page 118 but 192 pages including several in text line drawings and facsimile images, large format 8.5 x 5 inches approx.), decorated upper wrapper, a very odd apparently privately published book with no record at the British Library, comprising numerous dis-jointed notes, statements and paragraphs about a number of aspects of the Normandy invasion of June 1944, which may be of some interest to a serious researcher of the Operation, particularly the airborne landings to seize the bridges of the Rivers Orne and Caen Canal, and appears to argue that the real drop-zone was to seize the crossings of the River Dives, fine, (Book ref. 39964)  £20.00
