A very firm and clean copy in original dark brown cloth, gilt lettering a touch dulled, with a couple of virtually unnoticeable spots on the top cover and minor separation in the gutter between two central gatherings not affecting the tightness of the binding. Protected in a modern handmade archival cloth slipcase, leather label titled in gilt. This title, advocating the use of homeopathy in the treatment of hay fever, is one of the first books to be written specifically on the ailment. The publishers are known to have issued the work in variant bindings of green and brown cloth, both variants being equally scarce and difficult to obtain.
