Fourth Edition. Hardback. Very Good-. Both Vols: Patterned red boards; a trifle marked; lower corners slightly bumped. Front external joint on vol 1 partially exposed, but binding in both vols tight. Gilt titling a little dull, but still very legible. Smith's lending library stamp embossed in the top corner of the front endpaper of each vol, but no other marks. Owner's name unobtrusively on each front endpaper. A flyer listing various of Chapman & Hall's publications has been tipped in to the front of vol 1.
