Both vols: Brown leather boards; a little scuffed and marked; slight damage to front upper edge of vol. I, with small losses, but relatively light wear to both vols, given their age. Raised bands on spine; binding tight. Gilt bands on boards + spines, bright. Gilt titling on red panels at head of each spine, bright. Faint spotting throughout both vols. Small wormholes at the base of each spine: vol I has no further penetration; slight worm damage to lower corners of first few pp of vol II. App 1 1/2" x 1" rectangle cut out of top corner of vol I f.e.p. Owner's names on f.e.p. of each vol.
