Age toning, general wear, and some chipping to edges and margins (chip to inside margin of first leaf of text proper, with loss of one word on the second to last line and the first two words on the last line.; also chip to outside top corner of pp159/160 and 161/162.with loss of a third to a half of the first three lines. Original calf, very worn with loss of leather along front edges. Clogie's discourse follows on from a curious incident, described in detail in the introduction, whereby a young child was addressed by a raven who directed him to 3:15 in St Paul's Epistle to the Colossians. The cited text give rise to the following sermon on Christian Peace. A curious item and quite rare with no UK locations and just one Canadian and one US location being recorded in ESTC.
