Edinburgh: T.N. Foulis, 1907. paperback. Very Good-. Illustrated pale blue card wrappers, still quite bright; very light wear; stitched binding tight. 6 colour plates (incl. frontis., title page, and list of illustrations). Occasional spotting to text, but not plates. Delightful art nouveau illustrations. Laid in at the front is a Christmas gift label for 1907: the degree and colour of spotting matches the facing page, so it has presumably been there since the beginning, and thus suggests the date of this book. This is Foulis's Envelope Book no 3, and is itself enclosed in a slightly worn, ready-printed, ready-to-post, brown paper outer wrapper, complete with gummed flap folded under the front cover (instructions for posting are printed on the rear). The final page contains a list of Foulis's Envelope Books, of which this is the last (ie most recent) listed. ; 12mo (3 1/2" x 6 1/2"); 38 pages (Book ref. 22735) Offered for sale by Walden Books
