Welcome to The Bookpassage Online

We stock a wide range of books, paperback and hardback, fiction and non- fiction, covering most subjects. We also stock Local History books and pamphlets in addition to newly published works by Local Authors.

Our shop is located in a 17th Century alley which previously led to stables behind the coaching inn next door, now an Indoor Market. Here we have over 15,000 books for you to browse in addition to our internet stock.

The Bookpassage was established in 1980 and the current proprietors have been supplying both personal customers to our shop and mail order customers across the world for 6 years.

  • Payment: We accept payment by cheque, postal order, cash or Paypal.
  • Postage and Packing: Postage and packing are charged at cost.
  • Returns: We take great care with our book cataloguing but if a book does not appear to be as described please contact us within 7 days so that we can arrange a return/refund.
