Welcome to our website

Based in Windermere in the English Lake District. Our bookshop is open 7 days a week from 11am-5pm, with longer hours in the summer. An ever increasing selection of our stock of antiquarian, academic and secondhand books is listed online. We have been dealing in books since 1980 and offer a professional service via our shop and internet site.

We update our site daily and only offer books for sale that we actually have in stock.

There are two ways for you to look through our stock
  • Click here to browse through all our stock, starting with the most recently added items

  • Use the search boxes at the top of this page to find books in your own area of interest.  If searching, enter as little information as possible. One or two words in total (three at most) are normally sufficient to find what you're looking for if we have it.
