Welcome to the UKBookWorld homepage for Tony Pollastrone Railway Books. I am presently listing books in the following categories:- Railways, Industrial History, Canals, Transport, Motoring, Aviation, Buses, Trams, Traction Engines, Topography, General Interest. If you enter any of these categories in the Subject field, a list of relevant stock will be displayed. Don't forget that there may be some cross-listing of subjects. For instance, there may be books with information on buses in the Transport section, likewise there may be books on canals in Industrial History or Railways. One book could have relevance in more than one category, so I generally list it where I feel it has the greatest relevance. It makes sense therefore to do a search in all related categories. Of course, you may know the title of a book you are looking for which makes life easier. The General Interest list contains books on subjects as diverse as Cats, Dentistry, Nuclear Power and Childbirth, a real mixed bag, so a search through those books could turn up something interesting. Please feel free to let me know of any difficulties you encounter in searching my stock, after all, it is in my interest to have all my books readily available. Search through our items for sale

Simply enter any combination of words or names in the appropriate boxes and click on the "start search" button. Generally, type in as few words as possible. The search engine looks for ALL the words you enter. Entering more words gives a narrower set of results, but also increases the chances of missing relevant entries.

Using "Wildcards"

The characters * and ? can be used as wildcards. A * will match any number (including zero) of unspecified characters within a word, therefore art* will match art, artists, arthur, and so on. A ? character matches a single unspecified character, so art? will match art, arts and arte but none of the previous examples.
