This is approximately what your personal website linked to the UKBookWorld database will look like.  You can enter whatever text you want in this central section to describe your business and the type of books you sell.

The design of this page as it stands is our default setting and is sufficient for most booksellers once they have added in their own required text.   However, you can modify the overall appearance of the page to suit your own requirements if you are able to write the necessary htm coding for your design.

Important features to note about the UKBookWorld personal website service

  • Our listing charges could hardly be lower.  It's just £24 a year for 1,000 books; £36 a year for 5,000 books; and a modest further increase for larger numbers.

  • In addition to low charges, we don't charge commission on sales.  Every sale you make through your personal website is completely commission free.

  • Most importantly, your website here displays your books and your books alone.  You can now send potential customers to look at just your books - there's no link through to books belonging to other booksellers as there is on ABE.

  • This website doesn't replace your existing ABE or PBFA listings but allows you to act completely independently by enabling you to sell more books to your own customers without them being distracted by millions of books from your competitors.

  • You can provide direct clickable links in the left-hand column to display any individual selections within your overall stock.  These links operate from whatever enter in the keywords field of your desktop or laptop database (usually Homebase or Booklist).

  • Use UKBookWorld's free UKBookLink service in personal emails to give customers clickable links direct to individual titles or selections from your books.

  • Easily link to any existing personal domain name or website you're already running.

  • Search: Use the search boxes at the top of this page to find books in your own area of interest. If searching, enter as little information as possible.  One or two words in total (three at most) are normally sufficient to find what you're looking for if we have it; any more and you're unlikely to find anything.
