Good/No Dustwrapper. 16mo A pretty tight 6 3/8" by 4 1/4" harback with green cloth covers. There are short splits down from the spine ends along the spine sides and short splits and very small pieces missing from the ends. All four cover corners are inturned and are just worn through. The spine is faded, browned and patchily darked. The gilt spine titles are hardly discernible. The front and back covers have some marks. The front and back covers have impressed decorative designs into the corners. the front cover has gitl titles, the letters being in a "woody" style. There is a pencilled name and a peened name and date on the pale yellow front endpaper. An engraved frontispiece and decorative title page with an engraved vignette both signed C. B. Foster. Both these have some foxing.
