Raised bands and old paper label. Engraved title-page opposite main title is present; 'With engraved additional title-page/frontispiece on verso of first leaf (giving main title and imprint ('Sold by Gilbert Cownly'; with symbolic illustration of church with communion table flanked by angels)., [ Title page neatly repaired and a few words replaced in 19th century hand. Owner name dated; 'Walter Field, Oxon, 1849'. [ Title continues; to which is added a sermon, never printed with the folio volume of sermons ]. Nice old copy.
