Born in Barrow-in-Furness the author joined Kendal Borough Police in 1936 and served in the Fleet Air Arm from 1942-45. He rejoined the police force in 1946 becoming a member of the Cumberland and Westmorland Constabulary, retiring after 30 years service. These are his memoirs. (Book ref. 6184 )  £ 15.00
