Although ex university library with the occasional stamps, the two volumes have been recased with the original spine replaced, so extending the life of the books. The titles are in gilt. Isaac Backus (1724-1806) was a Baptist preacher and a delegate to the First Continental Congress. Backus was a well known preacher and had an academic interest in the founding of the first Baptist school of Rhode Island. Scans available. Little extra postage overseas. Very good.
