Pictorial endpapers of numerous animals curiously observing a nasty looking Cheshire cat who is watching them from a great height. Animals all dressed in most colourful fashionable clothes. The Gryphon is most protective of Alice and the Dodo is exceedingly polite and adorable. To see such fashionable animals in the courthouse is a joyful experience and it is not often the judiciary gets advice from a caterpillar!. The Lobster - Quadrille does not appear to have been admitted to court! This is a book to treasure.
