The Rare Book Shelf

Deighton, Len Funeral In Berlin , London: Jonathan Cape, 1964.

First Edition. Very Good +/Very Good. Bound in the publishers brown cloth with sharp gilt title lettering to spine and grey stamped illustration to front board. The 319 pages are in fresh, clean condition throughout with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Double matching diagramatic black endpapers to front and rear of book. Slight lean to spine. Binding is in very presentable condition. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper which has publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Slight wear and signs of handling otherwise dustwrapper is in very good condition with the notoriously fragile lamination remaining whole.
