The 117 pages remain in fresh, clean condition with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Top edge dyed maroon as published. Cloth binding is very presentable with no bumping to corners. Beautiful black and white drawings by Tunnicliffe and Sheppard support this lovely tale of the seas throughout. Certainly a beautifully crafted book. Housed in the striking dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Light signs of handling to the top edge otherwise the classic dustwrapper is in very good condition. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition.
