Illustrated by Cecil Aldin. First Edition. Very Good. FIRST EDITION Bound in the publishers black cloth with gilt title lettering to the spine and front board. The 149 pages remain in very presentable condition and are tightly bound with no inscriptions. Sixteen lovely colour plates are all present and correct with printed tissue guards. Many further black and white ilustrations support the text throughout. The usual minor foxing to the edges of pages otherwise interior remains very clean. Light signs of handling and a little wear to head and heel of spine but a handsome copy nontheless. Photographs of the book are available on request. Within this book the famous illustrator gives us a knowledgeable guide to some of Englands most beautiful inns.
