The 104 pages of high quality paper remain in fresh, clean condition with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. This is D.H. Lawrence's excellent selection of 89 poignant poems including the famous title poem: The Ship Of Death. Illustrated with 13 beautiful black and white wood engravings by Blair Hughes-Stanton throughout the book. The marriage of the soulful prose and the atmospheric illustrations combine together to form a book of breathtaking content and appearance. The book is in very good condition with all hinges strong and tight. Light wear to the top of spine otherwise binding is very presentable. Book sits solid and square. A volume that has been well preserved over the years. Photographs of the book are available on request. A lovely copy of this interesting D.H. Lawrence poetry title which is becoming rather scarce.
